Atkinsons

www.atkinsons1799.com

In 1799 James Atkinson, an eccentric young gentleman, established himself in London as a Perfumer and Maker of Fine Toiletries. The fragrance house and its emblematic bear were to become the official perfumer to the Royal Family of England and to the most aristocratic and exclusive customers worldwide. The sweet smell of success emanated most deliciously, in 1832, from its fantastic headquarters at 24 Old Bond Street.

After a delightful hibernation, Atkinsons and its roaring bear have awoken from their sleep totally refreshed and revived. Drawing on 200 years of English eccentricity, style and impeccable manners, the house is now ready to introduce a new century of perfume class. And how? By means of their newest collections, the boldest and most irresistible so far.

“True style” as Beau Brummel once said, “never goes out of fashion. You simply cannot keep a good bear down.”

The Candle Collection

The Isle of Wight Bouquet: A verdant and floral fragrance recalling the Channel island’s seaside landscapes, redolent of its native purple wood calamint flowers and the deliciously tangy Prince Albert Rhubarb that grows in the gardens at Osborne House.

The Hyde Park Bouquet: The woody vegetal scent of linden trees, rustling birch leaves, wild grasses and soft tree moss. As bucolic as a walk in this royal park.

The Mayfair Bouquet
: true poshness, in a richly woody ambery fragrance enhanced with rose, orange flower, amber and oud wood.
